Assignment Instructions
Before starting any job, we will work alongside the client to draw up an exclusive set of assignment instructions for the specific site. In this document – which the client will have a copy of – we will detail the relevant duties and procedures, as well as the different registers that are to be kept on site.
These assignment instructions will be regularly updated to reflect any changes at the earliest opportunity, while all security officers will be required to sign an acknowledgement form to confirm they are aware of any changes.

Patrol Monitoring
When the assignment calls for specific security patrols, we can install an unobtrusive unique coded electronic live patrol system with QR tags at strategic locations throughout the site – with this service coming totally free for our clients with annual contracts.
This system records patrol frequencies and incident reports – with photos – which enables us to monitor our officers work remotely. We can also provide summary reports to our clients at no extra cost.
Supervision
When our security officers are operating within your premises, our supervisors regularly make unannounced visits as part of our drive to maintain high standards – always signing in on the assignment log. Our welfare team will also make appearances to make sure that our officers are receiving the adequate support that allows them to do the job to the best of their ability, ensuring your premises are safe and protected
Contingency Planning
At Guardforce we are, of course, not immune to staff absences and holidays, and we take measures to ensure that such instances do not compromise the level of service our clients expect.
In the case of unplanned, sudden absences, we will make sure that the on-duty security officer waits until a suitably trained replacement is available.
Our management team will select a staff member from our team of talented and dedicated relief staff and we will generally have an officer on-site within 90 minutes. Should this process take any longer, our management or supervisory team will personally take over duties.
These fully trained relief staff also cover for our guards on pre-planned holidays, to ensure that the standard of service remains at the same high level on the few occasions when your regular security officer is not available.
Staffing
With regards to the staff chosen for each site, we always tailor our selection based on the specific needs of the clients’ site. Our recruitment and selection procedures differ depending on the particular job and we also offer our clients the opportunity to interview all prospective security officers prior to deployment.
Change of staff
We at Guardforce respect any clients’ right to request a change of security personnel for whatever reason. While this occurrence rarely comes up, we will always comply with any such request and follow this up with a documented investigation to ensure that such eventualities are minimised in future.
Security Screening & Vetting
All Guardforce officers and administration staff are vetted for a period of five years before coming under our employment and, in addition, their four mounth probationary period allows an extra layer of security by giving us time to assess their suitability to our company.
